Sorry to be so cryptic…. but I can’t risk jinxing anything, so waiting until it’s official.
If we are staying tuned for something better than that photo, it is going to have to be absolutely outstanding… not much can beat that I would think… but I will follow instructions and keep watching…
That photo actually makes me a little nervous.. cause I’m not sure myself how I am going to top it 🙂
I would be very worried.. cause it is a moment of brilliance…
Love your space … love the colors in it.
Thank you so much…. and guess what I got in the mail today… THANK YOU… that was so very thoughtful of you. I have never been to Seattle but hope to go one day.
Tracie …. my pleasure is all mine. You, your eye and camera would love Seattle – so much to make stunning subjects off. There should come one more card to you.
Oh how exciting… I will keep an eye on the letter box for it…. and thanks again…. that was incredibly thoughtful of you. xxoo
Tracie … I know that you are going through changes that you’re not comfortable with .. and I thought maybe some postcards will cheer you up.

What a tease Tracie!! You don’t play fair 😛
You have one more day young lady!!
Sorry Holly… I was supposed to have an answer on Friday, and in reality I wrote the post on Wednesday as a sort of LOA pre-emptive strike.
Stunning pic!!! is this HDR Photography or just a long exposure… Brilliant!!
Whilst I did attempt quite a few HDR shots that day, this was a single long exposure shot… Thanks so much for the lovely comment.
Nice.. the long exposure and resulting additional details has given life to this pic… Looking forward to see more.
Gorgeous photo. Wish it was one of mine 🙂
That’s very sweet… thank you 🙂
Tracie- Figured out a problem with browser on my end. Fixed.
Wishing you the very best, as always.
Beautiful picture! Contrasting reds with the blue to break it up, are really nice.
THanks Dave.. glad you got the issue sorted.
Awesome photo. Well done Tracie. 😀

OK, I’m watching! Beautiful photo as always!
I am sitting by the phone myself…. any moment now.
Hello Tracie, I love your photography. It is truly breathtakiing. I hope you dont mind, I’ve used this image to go with one on my peoms ‘I Manifest’ ( http://leroywatson4.wordpress.com/2012/07/30/i-manifest/). I hope the news is good. Light and Happiness, lee
I usually prefer being asked first.. but since you included the link back here, then that’s cool. Thanks so much for the well wishes… much appreciated.
Thats poems, not peoms! Thought that is quite an interesting word!
My english is terrible today!
Hahahaha… don’t stress it.
Much to ponder in that beautiful photo.
THank you so much 🙂
The ocean rejects, what it cannot swallow, sometimes is a wreck of a boat, too small for the greatness of the ocean, when is moved by wind and currents. I love what you did with this photo!
Thank George.. apparently the boat was bigger once, but the other side of it has already been lost to the ocean.
I’m watching and waiting semi-patiently! This picture reminds me of the Loch Ness monster..
I’m so sorry.. but the good news I have been waiting for (and fully expected to have last week).. hasn’t been forthcoming. So I am still waiting (not so patiently) myself.

I am really enjoying looking through your body of work through your blog. You’re obviously a quick learner as your photographs are truly beautiful. I sense you’ve worked a lot with HDR techniques in your photographic journey. I love your processing that displays brilliant deep color saturation and snappy contrast. You’re lightyears ahead of the vast majority of photographers I see on blogs. I have already decided to follow your blog. Thanks for being part of the blogging community. I’ve only participated since August, 2012. – Bob
Hey bob.. thanks so much for the lovely comment. I do love HDR work. I find it works so well for the harsh lighting conditions in my part of the world. And I adore strong bold colour. So glad you enjoyed your time here.
I too occasionally employ HDR but with a different goal in mind. For example, when shooting a high contrast waterfall I’ll use a 5-9 frame HDR composite to get minute detail in the highlights of the water while doing the same to the dark face of the cliff. I don’t go for the grunge processing so I’d have to tell you it’s an HDR, it wouldn’t be so obvious. – Bob
I don’t like overly grunge, but it sounds like you think some of my work is overly grunge. But I do sometimes make work obvious that it is a HDR. But then again I have a LOT of work that you would never know it’s a HDR. Due to time constrictions, I should a lot of work in the middle of the day and the harsh Aussie sun makes it nearly impossible to capture images any other way.
Understood. Whether you shoot HDR or not makes no difference to me. Everyone has their own style and likes. Stick with what pleases you.
Wow, fantastic blog layout! How long have you been blogging for? you make blogging look easy. The overall look of your web site is wonderful, as well as the content!. Thanks For Your article about Stay Tuned& .
