Nothing to be Afraid of….

Booie Road

I think most everyone has heard the acronym F.E.A.R = False Evidence Appearing Real… but I heard a different one a little while back, which I think is very cool.

F.E.A.R = Forgetting Everything’s All Right.

As spiritual beings… having a temporary human experience… in reality there is really nothing to ever be afraid of.  Nothing has, nor will, ever hurt us… not really.  But it is very easy to forget that.  It’s very “big picture” thinking and that isn’t always easy to maintain in our, very human, every day lives.

Every single emotion that we are capable of experiencing can be broken down into one of two categories.  Love or Fear.  Every action that we take, every word that we speak… is either motivated by Love or by Fear.  And we often forget that we ALWAYS have a choice as to whether we want to come from a place of Love or from a place of Fear.

As someone who was abandoned by her biological mother at birth, I have lived most of my life controlled by a deep seated fear of rejection.  Until I finally realised that I did in fact have a choice.  As a human new born child, I might have been abandoned…. but as a child of God, I never have been.  Nor will I ever be, or could I ever be.

F.E.A.R = Failing (to) Experience Actual Reality.

Taking risks might seem scary.  Going for our dreams might seem frightening.  Telling another how you feel when you are unsure of their reaction, can seem terrifying.  Change of any kind can be scary.  But in reality… Everything is All Right.

Always has been…. Always will be.

And Always… ALWAYS chose Love over fear.
