We all have intuition. Some may feel they do more than others, but we all have that sixth sense. I am sure everyone has had the experience of a wee small voice in the back of your mind, telling you to do something, or not to do something. To turn left instead of right. To stay at home, when you had planned to go out.
I have learned over the years to pay close attention to that little voice inside. It has not once steered me wrong. And more often than not it has lead to happy “coincidences” or things turning out for the better.
Yesterday I had plans to go to the Tamborine National Park in Queensland. I have always wanted to go, but the weather was not looking good. I woke up to a strong feeling that I should not go. My internal guidance was pushing me in the direction of Cleveland and Manly… neither place I have ever been to before. I tried to ignore my inner prompting as I have wanted to go to Tamborine for the longest time. It’s a place of such natural beauty with incredible waterfalls (which I have been dying to try and photograph). But try as I may, I just couldn’t shake the feeling that I was to go to Cleveland.
So I suggested this to my dear friend Linda, who was good enough to be my chauffeur for the day, and at first she was still keen to go to Tamborine, despite looming storm clouds. But since Cleveland was kind of on the way, we decided to head that way first.
And intuition was right. The image from yesterdays blog post was just one of the results from the trip. The above image was another result. And even though the rain was coming down, and poor Linda was left holding a golf umbrella over my head whilst I worked….. I am so very happy with the final results.
Proving once again…. that intuition knows best.
