My Paintings…
ByAs promised, I wanted to share my acrylic paintings with you.
Not because they are particular good or especially interesting…. but because it took me decades to find the courage to even pick up a paint brush to begin with, for fear of not being good enough. And then because it took me another couple of years to find the nerve to show them to anyone.
By sharing these, it is my hope that I inspire others to openly express their own creativity in whatever form they choose. Art is such a subjective media, and there will always be those who enjoy what you do, and those who do not…. and that is absolutely fine. And it should never stop you from being who you are and sharing that incredible gift with the world.
I really wish that I had made this realisation a very long time ago… but hey, better late then never I guess.

Amazing!!!
Thanks!
I like the orange one. I always prefered drawing in charcoal or pastel as to be honest my painting was never brilliant
The orange one is my favourite too. I really must try some more painting, because I think with all I have learned about photography lately, would actually help me with light and composition.
You’re some artist … you paint … you take photo .. and you write … do you cook too ??? *smile Stunning – love the use of colors – strong and passionate. Thanks for showing them.
“strong and passionate”…. that’s me alright!! I only cook when I have to, but I really don’t enjoy it. Hubby would say I am a good cook, but if I had my way, I would never cook again.
I knew it … even the sun has spots *smile … Same with even if I’m a very good chef .. I only cook because I have too.
They radiate energy and love of life, Tracie, just like you! Lori
What a sweet thing to say… thank you
for me, a paint brush is heavier than a camera, althouth I love to paint.
I know what you mean
Beautiful paintings. Gorgeous colors.. Summer Wine and Summer are my favorites.
That’s very kind of you… thank you xxoo
Lovely Tracie… you are so talented…
You are very kind… thank you
Matisse-Gauguinish, Latino-style colors and composition. Beautiful still-lifes. I Love it!
Thank you so much
Love the colours. They are fresh and uplifting.
Seems even before my photography days, I was inspired by strong bold colours
Thanks so much.
Fine paintings!
Congratulations!

Wow, Tracie!! I love the bright, vivid colors, they’re as striking as your photos. All that beauty comes from you, awesome!
Thanks so much for sharing.
Yeah, I guess I was into bright bold colours even before I picked up a camera
Thanks for the lovely kind words.
You’re so very welcome. You’re appreciated.
Really enjoyed these words. It is as truth hard to accept. Well done.for declaring it and count me as one who subjectively enjoyed what you did.
I am so glad
Beautiful art!
Thanks Jay
Your painting is wonderful! The colors and perspective you paint are vibrant and to me, somewhat abstract. Well done!!
They are supposed to be abstracts… but not SO abstract that you can’t still tell what they are… now I come to think about it, I think even my photography can be a little abstract at times… maybe it’s just the way my brain works
I really love calla lilies, they are my favorite flowers….Peace Jaz
Calla Lilies are my all time favourite as well… Thanks so much for the lovely comment xxoo
Amazing dear friend, amazing… you are such a mu-til talented artist… you look like a pro!!. YOU SHOULD be SELLING your art too

I am not a confident painter Deb… I only dabble when the mood takes me…. which isn’t that often actually. But I have been feeling like doing some more again lately.

Wow Tracie these are incredible! i love how you mixed abstract with still life!! you are really talented!
I guess to me, all of life is a little abstract

Thank you for those lovely kind words… wishing you a wonderfully, miraculous week also xxoo
I really love your use of colour – they are really delightful vibrant, and beautiful paintings! Thank you for sharing these inspirations and your realizations, as always!
And thank you for the very kind compliment. I am sure they are not particularly good paintings, but that wasn’t really the point. Just want to encourage people whenever and however I can.
I think they’re gorgeous. You inspire me. I’ve always wanted to try painting. Maybe I’ll give it a try some time.
OH I totally think you should. I seriously believe, that if the desire has been placed in your heart, then the finished product is there just waiting to be born. And it’s so much fun.
They are beautiful and so colorful! good work!
Colour is what it’s all all about
Thanks so much.
Beautiful paintings.
Thanks Brenda
j’adore ce style de peinture !… les formes et les couleurs… génial !
Merci beaucoup xxoo
Is there no end to your talent? Love, love, love them. Summer wine if my fav..though Orange is a close second.. Wow Tracie. You have some mighty fine ‘genes’. Very impressed my friend!
xo

Not sure it’s in the genes… I was abandoned at birth by my 14 year old mother after getting abandoned at conception by my loser of a father. They do say that great creativity is born from great pain… maybe that has something to do with it
Well hell…then fuck genetics. You have EARNED yours. All the better! Our gain sister friend…our gain.
love you loads TL

Love ya back!!!!!!
xxoo
HA! I was going to say the same thing that Rhonda said! So, “IS there no end to your talent”???
There are LOTS and LOTS of things I do very poorly…. I promise you
you hide them well!
The zenith of painting, i’m overwhelm!!!! Cheers Nonoy Manga
Thanks so much
“I don’t know much about art, but I know what I like” and I liked all of them..Eye catching and attention to detail, I am so envious.
Don’t tell anyone.. but I don’t know much about art either
Could’ve fooled me.
To create- and to share- demands courage. Not “better late than never”- right on time, I think.
These are lush, gorgeous paintings. Thanks for sharing them.
Tom
Wow… thanks Tom. xxoo
