This wasn’t what I expected … thought I will have a wonderful photo of a starry sky here. * laughter I’m not into Star War at all – but I say Happy Star Wars day to you too.
It’s kinda an “in” joke between my son and I, and only Star Wars fans will understand the joke. But Mark and I had so much fun doing this, that I couldn’t resist sharing. And after the seriousness of late, I thought a little levity was in order
It is brilliant …. I was so taken by surprise … our blog us and our world – we should do what ever we want. It gave me a big smile .. before bedtime. Thanks.
Hahahhahah the chewing gum really threw me for a while! I was staring at the screen squinting at the gum packets until it finally hit me – cos I’m a Star Wars nut, and I couldn’t let any obscure reference elude me!
It should’ve been obvious! But my thought processes were going along “Juicy Fruit” and “PK”… I didn’t think of chewing gum till later – at which point I smacked myself for not seeing something so obvious hahaha!
I was trying to think of the most universally recognised “chewy” in the world, and those two came to mind.. besides, I really like Juicy Fruit (the pack is almost empty now)
Hmnn…a Pretty Punishing Post from an entire universe far, far away; it gumnmed up my cerebration for a bit… Chewbacca brings a different wad to mind; leading to wondering what they did to empty spittoons on a spaceship;. Gum might be a bigger problem…I shudder to consider a universe slowly filling with discarded chews…they’re bad enough on sidewalks.
Personal Preference Point: Millenium Falcon is ok; but;; can’t help preferring the Assam Dragon.
One hour is a bit harsh my friend… I think you have learned your lesson.. let’s just make it 20 minutes (which is about as long as I can go when there is chocolate around).

Delightfully goes where no one has gone before!
yeah.. that’s me
Hahahaha that’s Star Trek! Yep, petty geek alert!
I was never a big Trekky… Stargate was (and still is) my favourite sci-fi… except for Dr.Who… I was born and raised on Dr.Who.
Is this a 4thed issue?

Solo and Chewy… I thought it was obvious… especially with the Millennium Falcon in the background

Very creative! I just came across my star wars figures from the 70′s.
My husband still has the original advertising poster from the newspaper for the first Star Wars movie.
Love it:)!!!
Thanks..
A little bit different today! Nice! Ann
Thanks Ann
It took me about 5 seconds to get the joke, hahahaha (re: the can of solo and chewing gum). Very funny! I like it!
Thanks
More than just a 4th of habit…….
Last one…… I promise. Not true, it won’t be the last. I can’t help, myself.
I havne’t heard that line until today… its everywhere on the internet!! Have I been living under a shell all these years?!?!
Hahaha.. I had actually forgotten about it until my son (and fellow geek) mentioned it.
This is great, you were right when you thought I would like it. Happy Star Wars day to you.
Hey.. StarWarsGuy… thanks so much for stopping by… so cool you came
Great idea. I love Solo and his adventures in Star Wars. Without Solo, there would be a different universe.
Totally agree… he’s my favourite in the movie… except for Chewie of course.

Oh, noooooooooooooo. How did I miss Star Wars Day this year? I’m ashamed. I shall punish myself by withholding any chocolate for one hour. lol
