These shots came out well in black and white. I love the one with the fallen tree in the water. And that little house reminds me of Kansas; specifically Dorthy’s house in the movie “The Wizard of Oz”. It’ is amazing what triggers our memories.
the Wizard of Oz, is one of my all time favourite movies. I think it was the first ever movie I saw in a theatre. Thanks so much for the lovely comments, and I apologise for the lateness of my reply.. I only just found this comment. xxoo
Beautiful captures … Question … Did you shoot these in color and change ithem post processing or do you shoot in B/W? Numbers 2 and 3 are exceptional … master photography!! Tom
Sorry for replying so late… I only just found these comments. I always shoot in colour. Usually have the camera set to extra vivid But if sometimes I feel that the image would be more powerful in a black and white and so change it in post. Thanks Tom.
The last few years most of the art hanging on my walls is BW….I do have one in sepia…but I love the BW as it seems to pull you into the picture, almost magical…simple yet very elegant…all class:) I love your work:)
superb…..amazing…….wonderful……beautiful…….I can’t find any more words for the crystal clear photos you’ve clicked! Perfect photographs………framing, lighting, saturation, perspective, concept…….everything’s perfect….!!! Superlike to your work
I’m glad to follow your blog
I’m also passionate about photography……but I can’t click with such clarity and quality as you do….!! Really inspiring for me and every pic is worth a SupErLIke

What an exceptionally talented photographer, her work leaves me speechless and breathless at the same time.
You are right,, who needs color for beauty? Well, there are things more beautiful without the extravagance and splashes of color. Certainly, beauty can also be equated to minimalism.
I am very luck to have found your site. Looking forward to seeing more of your works. They are very refreshing!:
That is such an amazing compliment… thank you so much xxoo

I have always loved black and white pictures. I don’t know why but it captivates me. colorful pictures are wonderful as well but black and white photos seem to be more timeless and it brings a certain calmness.
I never used to like B&W pictures.. I am a big fan of bold bright colours…. but I have been learning to love B&W as my knowledge and skills improve. Thanks so much for the comment
